The training is accredited by the International Board of Regression Therapy (IBRT) and meets the requirements to be a professional member of the European Association of Regression Therapy (EARTh). It includes lectures, demonstrations, experiential exercises, pair work, supervision and reading. Andy Tomlinson, internationally renowned Past Life Regression trainer, will lead through the training.

The pre-training requirement is a minimum of 50 hours of training in therapy. Ideally students will be qualified in psychotherapy, counseling, hypnotherapy, psychiatry, energy healing, body work or an approved complimentary therapy. Applicants without formal qualifications must be able to demonstrate interest, enthusiasm and life experience appropriate to the helping professions and show aptitude and potential for studying.

For those with no qualification in hypnosis a Foundation Certificate in Hypnosis will be required. We will be offering this course in March 2008.

The program will be offered in two blocks of 8 days, starting end of May 2008. The second block is scheduled for October 2008.

FIRST 8 DAY-SEMINAR

 Exploring a Past Life and Healing in the Spirit Realms

1. Guided imagery into a past life
2. Open and directive questions to explore a past life
3. Identifying turning and shut down points
4. Techniques to avoid a diversion when exploring a past life
5. Handling the death experience
6. Recognizing and overcoming attachment to the body at death
7. Working with unfinished business from the past life
8. Techniques to find reconciliation and forgiveness in the spirit realms
9. Integration of a client's soul-fragments
10. Mediation and use of spirit helpers and guides

Bridges and Clearing Energy Blocks

1. Non hypnosis bridges to the source of a client's problem ; phrases, emotional and somatic bridges
2. Using energy scans to bridge into a past life
3. Handling a spontaneous catharsis
4. Psychodrama encounters to unfreeze blocked emotional and mental energy from a past life
5. Observing body cues and energy movements
6. Detecting unfinished business at the end of a session with an energy scan
7. Conducting a regression therapy client interview and the information to collect.

 SECOND 8DAY-SEMINAR

 Body Therapy and Healing Trauma

1. Letting the body tell its story to recognize the physical wounds carried from a past life
2. Body therapy to clear trauma and deep body patterns from a past life
3. Techniques to work through a disassociation from a traumatic past life
4. When to use shamanic spirit animals for shutdowns and the loss of vital soul energy

Current Life Regression and Spirit Release

1. Using past life healing techniques in a current life regression
2. Using body therapy for current life sexual and physical abuse
3. Integration of a past life and current life regression into the present
4. Between therapy session assignments
5. Detecting and releasing intrusive energy and spirit attachments
6. Client record keeping including the ethical, legal and moral considerations
7. Regression therapy contradictions

Diploma in Regression Therapy
On the successful completion of the training program a Diploma in Regression Therapy (Dip RTh) is awarded which is accredited by the International Board of Regression Therapy (IBRT).

This enables the graduate to obtain insurance and work professionally with clients as a Regression Therapist. They will also be referred clients as a practitioner from the Academy website. They can join the European Association of Regression Therapy as a professional regression therapist and be promoted on their website.

The Diploma is awarded on the skills and knowledge the student has on regression therapy. Skill assessment will be both informal and formal from observation during pair work. The full requirements are:

1. Attending all workshops each of four days duration
2. A minimum of 2 practice pair sessions with fellow students between each workshop of which one will need be supervised for skill assessment
3. Complete all the reading and writing assignments
4. In some cases undergoing an agreed level of regression therapy to clear personal unfinished business
5. Supervision while working with clients until qualification
6. A written summary of the sessions with 5 clients using regression therapy
